Requirements

System requirements

Windows desktop app

Windows 10 version 2004, build 19041 or later is required. These versions provide stable screen capture through Windows.Graphics.Capture.

Hardware encoder required

The app uses an LGPL-compatible FFmpeg configuration, so a GPU hardware H.264 encoder is required instead of x264 software encoding. Most modern gaming PCs support at least one of NVENC, Quick Sync, or AMF.

Privacy

Recordings stay on your PC

The app does not provide accounts, cloud sync, or uploads to a developer server. Screen, webcam, system audio, and microphone input are processed only to create the local MP4 file you choose to record.
